Every other place has Bud Light and stuff that’s usually in bottles; A lot of people come in here and say ‘I want a Bud Light’, and I’m like ‘I can’t give you a Bud Light, I can give you something that tastes similar but a million times better’”. “[We] try to get a style of every kind of drink; something on the lighter side, something on the darker side, usually some kind of sour. We’ll stick to some of the basic ones that are very popular, and then we like to throw in new ones every once in a while,” Samantha disclosed.Moonrise uses all-American taps, except for one. This is their only German tap, fitted specifically for German kegs. The Iliad Blonde Ale, newly released this past Saturday, was a popular pour of the night.When Samantha greets customers, “I really hope people feel welcome. First thing when you walk in the door, I want you to see my smile.”“My personal favorite is The Mango-lorian; it’s a mango sour,” Samantha professed.Curtgar the Viking, the Moonrise Brewing Co. mascot, gets his beer horn refilled by Samantha regularly.As for the impact of COVID-19, “after we started reopening everything, it was kind of crazy that we blew up in the way that we did,” Samantha revealed. Crowds started pouring in to get a taste of the brewery’s highly-praised pints.Closing time at the brewery.
